The Sillage Studio ("we", "us"), Gurugram, Haryana 122004, India, operates thesillagestudio.in. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal data, in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). Our store is powered by Shopify.

Information we collect

Contact and order details: your name, phone/WhatsApp number, email, and shipping and billing address.
Payment confirmation: your UPI payment reference or screenshot — we do not collect or store card or full bank-account details, as payment is made directly by you via UPI.
Order and communication history, including the WhatsApp messages you send us to place or track an order.
Device and usage data collected automatically by Shopify and cookies (IP address, browser, pages viewed) to run and improve the store.

How we use your data

To process and deliver your order, provide customer support, send order updates, prevent fraud, meet our legal and tax obligations, and — only with your consent — send offers and new-drop alerts. Under the DPDP Act, placing an order is treated as your consent to process your data for the purpose of fulfilling that order.

How we share your data

Only as needed to run the store: with Shopify (which hosts our website), our courier partners (to deliver your parcel), and UPI/payment channels (to confirm your payment). We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data where required by law.

Retention and security

We keep your data only as long as needed to fulfil orders, provide support and meet legal/tax requirements, and we use reasonable security practices to protect it. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
